ALANIS MUNROE BY AMELIA RUTH GRAND

Earlier this week I received this very cool gift from an artist on DeviantArt for my birthday. Amelia Ruth Grand is a talent young artist from Russia who has impressed me with her style and continual productivity. I love her linework and her coloring just keeps getting better and better with every picture I see from her. I'm honored she did this awesome drawing for me. Thanks again, Amelia! Please check out more of Amelia's art here.

ILLUSTRIOUS BITS WEEK 14: HARLEY QUINN

Here is my contribution to Week 14 of Illustrious Bits. This week's character was choosen by the fans over on Deviant Art. I always love drawing Harley Quinn and love her original costume design. Sorry, the new DC version is not my taste. Why can't silly and fun characters stay silly and fun?

ILLUSTRIOUS BITS WEEK 13: BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER

I'll be honest, I wasn't planning on drawing this weeks subject on the Illustrious Bits blog. I have been pretty busy and didn't think I would have time. But the other night I did a quick sketch and kind of liked the way it looked. Of course, after inking and coloring it, it didn't quite look the same, lol. But hey, this is for fun and I enjoyed drawing her more than I thought I would.

DRUMFISH STATUE UPDATES!

Here are the initial sculpts for our first two Drumfish Production statues. Firebomb (from SENTINELS) is based on the design by the incredibly talented, Luciano Vecchio and Alanis Munroe (from NEVERMINDS) is based on the design by the extremely talented, Jamie Fay. We're really, really excited about this and hope everyone enjoys seeing these as they progress. The final statues should be finished in April. If anyone out there wants to pre-order either of the statues, please contact us on here or by email and we will let you know the details! We already have a decent amount of orders and we are only making a limited amount, so contact us asap!

ILLUSTRIOUS BITS WEEK 12: JEM

Here is my contribution to Week 12 of Illustrious Bits. This week's theme was picked by fans on DeviantArt and is "any character from Jem" (the 80s cartoon). I picked the cartoon's lead character, Jem, as my subject this week. I liked her attitude and how her look was totally a hologram. I had fun drawing this one, especially the hair, lol. The only thing I messed up was her earring. I made it a star and later realized (after inking) that it was really a six pointed type of star, not a standard star. Oh well, lol, she still turned out better than last week's Sailor Moon! :D

ILLUSTRIOUS BITS WEEK 11: SAILOR MOON

Okay, I'll admit it, this is really not my best work. I was trying for something that just didn't happen with this sketch. I was trying to kind of merge my style with the Anime look for this week's Illustrious Bits choice on of Sailor Moon. I waqs hoping something different would come out of the merge, but I wasn't really happy with the results. It was a fun experiment at least.

BUGGED PREVIEW PAGE

Even though BUGGED won't be released until the summer. I wanted to show another preview page here. It's hard to find pages that don't reveal too much about the book, but I thought this one was a good teaser and didn't give away too many things. Even though it hasn't been colored yet, you can see still how great Teyo art is and how he really sets a tone for the entire OGN. More soon!
