WALKER STALKER CON - NEW JERSEY - DECEMBER 9-10, 2017

I'll be at Walker Stalker Con this weekend, December 9-10, for my last show of 2017!

I've never attended a Walking Dead convention, but I hear a lot of great things about them, so I figured I'd give it a try. Look for my at table 706. I'll be selling lots of art, books and prints. So, stop by and say hello if you're at the show!

KOWA PAGE 52 - A FULL YEAR OF OUR WEBCOMIC!

Today we post our 52nd page from our webcomic, KOWA, marking one full year since we started! It seems like just yesterday we began our story and with the revelation at the end of this newest page, you can tell we have a lot more story to tell! See the full page at www.kowacomic.com. It's been a rewarding year and an amazing project to work on with one of the best collaborators I could ask for, Ihor Loboba. Ihor's colors bring so much of Kowa's world to life and I thank him for his support, talent and creativity. Take a bow, Ihor! 

Last year, we set a goal to post a page every Tuesday from KOWA and have it be something young readers could look forward to as well as adults. We never missed a Tuesday and we hope to continue with the same goals in 2018. But we are taking a short break. That's right, this last page from chapter 2 marks a hiatus until January2018. A re-charge is needed and chapter 3 is going to be intensive, so we want to spend extra time on it. Things are going to get crazy! Trust me, the wait will be worth it and will hopefully bring in new readers. We thank all of you who have been following us and taking the time to comment or like our work. We truly appreciate it! Look for more KOWA soon!

BLESSED SONS #1 COVER

We're extremely proud to reveal the cover for the first issue of BLESSED SONS, the newest series from Drumfish Productions!

Created by me, Rich Bernatovech (writer) and Ihor Loboda (artist/colorist), BLESSED SONS centers on a group of students at an all-boys school in Europe. It's a mystery/suspense/horror themed title and to say more would take away from some of the surprises!

The first issue is complete and will be sent to the printer soon! We'll be posting some previews in the coming weeks and also have it on Comixology too!

Whenever I get burned out or tired, and sometimes feeling down about my art, I remember how fortunate I am to work with so many talented artists. I really respect and admire all of them. And they inspire me to keep going and try to get better with my art and writing. So, when I hear good things about them, I'm so happy and proud to share the news. I just learned that my original partner in crime on SENTINELS, Luciano Vecchio, has been nominated for MULTIPLE Banda Dibujada awards! Luciano's webcomic, SERENO, has been nominated for best book for teens, best cover artist AND best writer/artist! This is a big deal in Buenos Aires and I'm so happy for him. He deserves the recognition. Please give Luciano a big round of applause and congratulations. Good luck, Luciano! I hope you win every category!

CRUSHER AND FLARE BY GAVIN MICHELLI

The amazingly talented and super nice guy, Gavin Michelli, drew this incredible picture of Crusher and Flare from SENTINELS! Gavin was the artist on Flare's story in the second SENTINELS Anthology. It's one of my favorite stories in the book and teamed Gavin up with fellow Louisiana resident, Beau Tidwell. These guys made a great team and I had the pleasure of meeting them in New Orleans together this year, where Gavin gifted me with the original art for this piece. WooHoo! Thank you, Gavin!
