This sketch of Serpenta is by one of my favorite convention artists, Holly Mongi. Holly is a fellow New Yorker, who's work I really admire. Recently, I got to catch up with her and she took my sketchbook and did this amazing pic. I love her soft style and excellent use of watercolors. It's hard to make watercolors look good, but Holly does it with ease. Holly is also an illustrator and animation artist. I can't recommend checking out more of her work enough. It's really great and just looking at it makes me feel peaceful, lol. You can see some more of her work at http://sites.google.com/site/hollymongi/ and http://luthien13.deviantart.com/ . And she even has a blog at http://hollymongi.blogspot.com/ . Thanks again, Holly!!!
