SENTINELS BY GREG MAYER

One of my favorite things about Indie comics (besides creating) is meeting other creators and getting to know them. Last year I got to met Greg Mayer (another local New Yorker) and have become friends with him. Greg is an extremely talented and nice guy. He's also full of energy and positive vibes. That's a rare thing in comics, so it's been a pleasure hanging with Greg at conventions. With this post are two different sketches Greg did of the Sentinels. The first is of Templar and baby Simon and was done at the Wizard Big Apple Con in my sketchbook. The second is a group shot of Templar, Firebomb, Serpenta and Crusher that was pencilled by Greg and given as a gift to me to ink. I had a blast inking it. It's been a while since I've inked anyone else's work, so it was nice to do it again. Sorry it took me so long, Greg! One other thing I have to say is that I think Greg needs to patten his clouds, lol. You know, like their is the "pattened Perez rubble", well Greg does the same with his clouds. Just look at them, lol. Please check out more of Greg's work at http://gregmayer.deviantart.com/ . He's working on a number of different projects that I hope he'll be showing soon.
