SAMANYA BY ANDREW CHARIPAR

This super cool drawing of Samanya, from NEVERMINDS, was drawn by my good friend, Andrew Charipar. Anyone who follows this blog knows that I'm a huge fan of Andrew's work. I love his comic, Tales from the Cornerstone, and think it's a great book. Andrew was also a contributor to the first SENTINELS Anthology and drew Serpenta's story in the book. This year, Andrew started his own "sketch a day" project and has drawn a ton of characters (even a few SENTINELS!). He began working on a special "secret" new project and had to stop doing the "sketch a day" thing, but that doesn't mean he stopped sketching at all. He surprised me with this awesome portrayal of Samanya. I really love the energy he put into it. But then again, Andrew puts that much work and energy into everything he does.
