SKETCH A DAY 96: BADGER

Badger was an Indie character who had his own book back in the 80s. The cool thing about Badger was that he was crazy. Literally. He had a bunch of different personalities which seemed to switch due to stress or something triggering his emotions. His book had a long run too from what I remember. Fun book. They started collecting the series in trades recently and I think there are about 4 of them out so far. I figured I'd try drawing some non-Marvel/DC characters again. More variety coming soon.

I love Badger. :D I have an orange shirt with his logo.

This is really good Rich, you got his rage and stance perfect.

Thanks, Keefer. Glad you like him. He was a crazy character. I liked his old series. I haven't read any of the new one, not sure if it's any good. Have you read it?

I read Badger Saves the World, but it felt kinda weak after the original series. It was more cooky and less violent and psychological. My favorite part of the original series was the big question as to whether everything was real or in Badger's head.

Weak, huh? Well, guess I won't be picking that up then, lol.
