A FEW SKETCHES

Here are a few great sketches that I haven't had a chance to post before now.
First up is Templar from the 1st Gen SENTINELS drawn by Yasmin Liang. Yasmin has a really great grasp on brush work and I love the effects of it. Please check out more of Yasmin's work at www.yazmeanie.com .
Next up is Heartache from the 3rd Gen SENTINELS drawn by Mike Roll at the 2012 MOCCA Con. Mike had a really fun and interesting style that I thought was very unique. He did this sketch super quick! Please check out more of Mike's work at www.mikeroll.blogspot.com .
The last two sketches are a bit older. One is by NEVERMINDS artist, Jamie Fay, and is of Yemenja from NEVERMINDS. We have some interesting plans for this character! This sketch was the first time that someone requested Jamie draw for them of her. Cool, huh?  The other sketch is of Alanis Munroe from NEVERMINDS and I honest can't remember who drew this one (sorry!!!), but it was posted by someone on DeviantArt.

ILLUSTRIOUS BITS WEEK 34: ANY DISNEY VILLAIN - MALEFICENT

The theme for week 34 on Illustrious Bits is "Any Disney Villain". I wasn't sure how my style would translate to Disney characters, but I defintely knew who I wanted to draw. Maleficent is easily the most striking Disney villain to me. She just has an odd beauty and evilness to her that I don't think many other Disney villains have. I'm excited to see the live action movie with Angelina Jolie when it comes out!

PROMOTIONAL BOX ART FOR SAMANYA AND TEMPLAR FIGURINES

Here is the box art for Samanya and Templar from the second set of Drumfish Productions figurines! The Templar art was drawn by Luciano Vecchio and the Samanya art was drawn by Jamie Fay and colored by Daielle Alex St. Pierre.

ALANIS MUNROE BY BEN HARVEY

This sketch of Alanis Munroe from Neverminds was drawn by Ben Harvey at 2012 Wizard World Philly Con. Ben is a super nice guy and very talented artist. I was wowed by his art the moment I saw it and quickly asked him to draw this. Check out more of Ben's art at www.graphitebite.blogspot.com .

NINA BY EMILIO J. LOPEZ

Another awesome sketch from Emilio J. Lopez draw at the 2012 MOCCA Con in NYC. Emilio had drawn one of the Sentinels previously, so I thought I'd have him draw one of the Neverminds characters this time. He picked Nina to draw and did a great job. Please check out more of Emilio's work at www.e-mann.deviantart.com .

NEVERMINDS BY JAMES BOYLE

This sketch of the three main characters from Neverminds was drawn by James Boyle at the 2012 Wizard World Philly Con. James' art was very impressive and I love what he did with the ladies here! Especially Samanya! Please check out more of James' art at www.jamesboyle.com .

NEVERMINDS BY DAVE PERILLO

One of the first people I met when I started doing conventions was Dave Perillo (and his partner in crime, Scott Derby). I've been a big fan of Dave's ever since and often get sketches from him at cons. Here are the three main characters from Neverminds drawn at the 2012 Wizard World Philly Con. Currently, Dave (along with Scott Debry and Tom Whalen) are part of a art big show in NYC as part of "C...razy 4 Cult" which runs from August 9, 2012 to Spetember 1, 2012 and is at the Gallery1988 NYC Pop-Up Store located at 64 Gansevoort St., NYC, NY 10014. Check it out if you have a chance! I loved the show and plan to see it again (opening night was crazy crowded!)

AGENT HUGGINS, CRUSHER AND TERRY BY FRED CHOA

Here is a cool collection of Sentinels characters. Crusher and his oldest son Terry with Agent Huggins. This sketch was drawn by Fred Choa at the 2012 Wild Pig Con! Fred is a very talented artist who writes and draws his own work. Please check out Fred's work at www.fredchao.com

NEVERMINDS ISSUE #3 PREVIEW

We're working hard on getting NEVERMINDS #3 ready to debut at the 2012 NYCC (New York Comicon)! Jamie Fay and Danielle Alexis St. Pierre are doing some truly amazing work. I think this issue is looking to be the most beautiful issue yet! Seriously, Jamie's lines are super detailed and matched with Danielle's incredible colors, it's going to leave people breathless. A majority of the issue takes place in the "other world" that Alanis has been visiting, so you know it's going to be intense! Just check out this first page to see what I mean!

RECENT HEADSHOT SKETCHES

Here are a few recent headshot sketches I did in preparation for the 2012 NYCC (New York Comicon!) in October. I sell a lot of these pre-made headshots, so I like to do as many as I can before hand to have them ready! My time spent doing commissions at the convention tables is very limited. Doing these every once in a while is relaxing too!

ILLUSTRIOUS BITS WEEK 33: PRINCESS PEACH

I almost didn't do a sketch for the latest theme for Illustrious Bits. Week 33 was "any character from Super Marios Bros." and I totally forgot about it! I was able to sneak out this sketch of Princess Peach over the weekend though. I was told her name used to be Princess Toadstool, lol. I kinda like that better. It's funnier.
