ROBUST BY MATTHEW FLETCHER

This sketch of Robust from the 1st Gen SENTINELS was done by Matthew Fletcher. Matthew's art caught my eye as I walked around the Con and I was glad I decided to get a sketch from him. I gave him a copy of SENTINELS Book 4 and told him to pick who he wanted to draw and he chose Robust. I think that fit his style well. I really like Matthew's line work and think it's unique style. But don't take my opinion for it, check it out for yourself at http://www.mjfletcher.com/ .

Robust has one of the best costumes in the series by far. Both of the sketches you've got have looked fantastic. I really like the rage that's lurking in this pic, especially in the eyes. I'm betting Robust gets some page time in the next Anthology. ;)

i love the sketchiness of this one, but if you look at the actual piece it was perfectly rendered. each line going to where it is supposed to

One of the best costumes, Keefer? Really? Wow, never thought that myself, lol, but I like it too. Glad you like the pic, I was pretty happy with it. :)
Face time in the next Anthology? lol
I agree with you, Jamie. The lines are perfectly rendered and all have purpose. He put more thought and work into then you can see.

Lol, ok. That I'll agree with.

Did you design the first gen costumes? Or was that Luc's doing also.

Sorry, Keefer, I missed replying to this comment. The first Gen costumes were originally created by me. Then when I was working with Jens Lund (the first artist on Sentinels before Luciano) he tweaked a few of them. Later when Luciano came on board, he also did a few tweaks to them. So, even though their looks have pretty much stayed as they were created, there were a few hands on them adding things. If Luciano reads this, maybe he'll comment on what he remembers too. But that's what I recall.
