Here are a few sketches by Jamie Fay that show the evolution of our main character from NEVERMINDS, Alanis Munroe. You can see from the beginnning she wasn't as defined as she is now. Then you'll notice that she looks like the daughter from the TV series 24 (Elisha Cuthbert). We scraped that idea and settled on her current look. As for her dress, we were going to define it, but as we worked we though it might be interesting to have her change it a bit each time. You'll see how that's possible in the series. More soon...

These are really cool Rich. Now unlike Sentinels this book is only focused on her right? Does she have any allies with powers?
Yeah, this is a solo book. Of course, she does have a supporting cast, but only one kind of has powers.
i think its cook to see all the different variations of alanis there have been. there was enough a time i wanted to make her african-american but rich shot that idea down and i'm glad he did. it think it would have changed the characters too much. she i decided to make her closest friend paige take that look and it works out beautifully.
Okay, I'll try to decode this. Instead of cook, I think you meant COOL. Instead of enough, I think you meant EVEN. And instead of she you meant SO. Whew. Spell check , Jamie. lol. But yeah, a while back we teased with the idea of changing Alanis's look completely and making her a different race. We didn't like that as much though and stuck with the original concept.
thanks, asshole. lol i was typing fast
AAAAA! HA HA Ha Roflmao
Ilove her look! Great work Jamie!!
